4 Rules of Romance

Valentine’s Day has always been about sweet indulgences, expensive dinners and buying gifts. But if you and your partner are tired of the same old traditions, give them an experience both of you will enjoy. Here are my four tips to make your valentine experience with your “bae” an unforgettable one.

Don’t be cliché: Be different. Be creative. You don’t always have to go by the book with the usual “perfume”, “cake” or roses”. Get something they’ve never gotten before. If you really want to make a lasting impression, you need to do something no other guy/girl before you has done. I mean, you are probably not the first guy to buy her fragrance, right? Even if you’d like to do so, invest it in it heavily, so that you can get her a scent that will make her stand out from the masses. Here are my recommendations for valentine fragrances

Tailor your gifts/outing according to your partner’s preference: If you want to make valentines special, buy him/her something that they truly desire or take them where they really want to go. Take her to watch that movie that she has been anticipating; Buy him that shoe he has always wanted. Not only will it make them happy, but it is a sign that you pay attention.

Quality Time: The most valuable thing you can give your partner is quality time. At times, you don’t even need to go that fancy restaurant or gala/ball. Cuddling in the bed and just talking with each other for hours is more than enough. It’s intimate, exclusive and it strengthens the bond.

Make it personal: Make your gifts personal. It will be hold more value to your partner. It makes the gift exclusive, which we as humans love as it gives them a sense of “this is mine and nobody else can have it.”
